Spinach & Feta Filo Pie

Spanakopita, a delicious spinach and feta pie, holds a special place in my heart. It reminds me of my visits to Crete, where my grandparents lived for many years. My nan, who had a keen eye for a bargain, would take us to the market to try out the local food. We would always stop at a cafe for lunch, where they served the most incredible spanakopita. I would always look forward to this dish, and when I returned home, I was determined to recreate it. After many attempts, I think I’ve come up with a recipe that does it justice. It’s not completely traditional, but it’s my version of this classic Greek dish.

My Spanakopita is made using only the finest ingredients, including fresh spinach, tangy feta cheese, leeks, onions, garlic, and oregano. Each layer of flaky filo pastry is carefully layered to create the perfect texture and flavour. It’s a dish that’s both healthy and satisfying, and it’s a hit with everyone who tries it.
