This dish holds a special place in my heart as it is a treasured family recipe passed down from my dad and grandad. The inspiration for this mouthwatering pork afelia came from a little Cypriot restaurant in Liverpool that our whole family used to frequent. We would all gather together to share stories, laughter, and of course, delicious food.

My grandad, who is a great cook, took it upon himself to recreate this dish at home, and with a few tweaks, it became an Awang family staple. The other fantastic cook in my life, my lovely dad passed it to me. To this day, the aroma of the red wine, coriander, garlic, and oregano marinade still takes me back to those cherished moments spent with my loved ones.

I’m honored to continue this tradition and share this beloved family recipe with my customers. The pork is slow-cooked to perfection, resulting in tender, juicy chunks that are bursting with flavor. It’s the perfect dish to bring the family together and create your own special memories.
